Your organization has its own particular set of circumstances. As a specialist in the field for over 30 years, Towers Perrin-ISR knows that there are often different types of surveys that best suit those particulars. These include the following examples:
Full-Scale Employee Opinion Surveys
These surveys cover a comprehensive range of topics and are usually administered to the entire workforce every year or two. For large organizations these are big projects that can produce massive amounts of data. For multinationals, such projects entail the additional major complexities of multiple languages and cultural influences. Contact us to discuss your specific employee survey needs.
Pulse Surveys
These surveys are used in between cycles of full-scale employee opinion surveys. Pulse surveys are shorter and may be focused on (a) a small set of “key indicator” questions drawn from the full-scale survey, used as a progress measure; (b) a particular topic on which management needs some feedback quickly; and/or (c) a subset of the employee population such as one facility, one functional area, or just a small but representative cross-section of all employees. Pulse surveys need to be carefully planned so they integrate with regular cycles of full-scale surveys.
Senior Leadership/Management Surveys
Leaders in your organization exert a tremendous influence on its effectiveness. A relatively simple issue such as how well aligned your leaders are on your strategy and its implications has a multiplying effect across the organization – and it is dangerous to assume this alignment exists. Management surveys can also be used to obtain feedback on politically sensitive issues with the candor that is often lacking in face-to-face communications.
Enhancement of Internal Survey System
Towers Perrin-ISR can help you get the most out of your internal survey system. Our consultants will help you examine your process and, if necessary, will pinpoint areas for improvement.
Merger and Acquisition Surveys
Mergers and acquisitions often fall on hard times for soft reasons – leaders failed to address the people issues that impact integration success. These issues include clashes of organizational cultures, departures of key talent, poor alignment on the new vision or strategy of the combined entities, and a lack of focus on customers. Our Corporate Cross-Match survey will help you address these issues effectively.
Expatriate Surveys
When you post people abroad, it's good business to make sure they have a positive experience. Our expatriate surveys identify the key issues that promote satisfaction for expatriates and their spouses.
