Special Focus Surveys

What is it?

A Special Focus Survey probes employee perceptions of a major contemporary issue.

Why do it?

Some areas become so "hot" that it is not prudent to wait for a full employee survey.

When to do it?

Whenever a precise picture of a special situation or event is needed.

How does it work?

With less evocative subject areas, the instrument is designed to measure only the issue in question. In a more sensitive subject area such as stress, the items are incorporated in a more broadly-based questionnaire to avoid bias and yield more accurate results.
